Hello
I’m Giorgia, creator of Casa Milocca.
With a background in architecture and over a decade of experience in refurbishment and real estate, combined with my studies in Feng Shui and environmental psychology, I offer a thoughtful and practical perspective that brings together design, functionality and the more subtle experience of a space.
My Story
I have worked with homes for most of my life. Growing up in an Italian family, my taste was shaped early on by spaces filled with artworks, curious vintage objects, and thoughtfully chosen furniture. My family regularly took us to exhibitions, museums, and antique and vintage markets, passing on a deep appreciation for art and craftsmanship. This upbringing trained my eye and instilled a natural sensitivity to atmosphere, and detail.
I studied Architecture and Landscape in Italy before spending over a decade in London working in real estate and refurbishing residential properties. During those years, I saw first-hand how layouts, light, materials, and proportions influence not just how a space looks, but how people live, move, rest, and relate within it.
My recent path into Feng Shui began with curiosity, continued through formal studies and deepened with the same simple realisation: our surroundings quietly shape how we feel, every single day.
Environmental psychology supports this. Wrongly designed, cluttered, poorly lit, or badly organised spaces can increase stress, mental fatigue, and irritability. Over time, a negative environment can quietly impact productivity, sleep quality, creativity, and relationships, both at work and at home.
On average, we spend around 18 hours a day at home and about 8 hours in the workplace. This means most of our life unfolds inside built environments. Their influence is often subtle, almost invisible, yet constant. The way a space is organised, how light enters a room, what we see when we wake up or sit at our desk, all gently condition our nervous system, our focus, and our emotional state.
My work at Casa Milocca blends architectural planning with Feng Shui principles, creating a bridge between function and feeling. This combination results in spaces that are practical, balanced, and emotionally supportive. Small shifts in space can create incredibly positive shifts in life.
